Stalking a book

It's the end of the summer, and instead of planning my classes like a good teacher, I'm trying to accomplish other goals - like reading more Lemony Snicket books, and finshing that Nora Roberts trilogy I started, and sending out wedding invitations (done!). The problem is that every time I want specific books from the library, they aren't there. Which has reduced me to checking their website twice a day to see if the books I want are back yet. This morning they're both showing "recently returned" so I'm hoping that when the doors open at 10:00, they'll be there on the shelves, waiting for me. Then, if I'm lucky, it will rain tonight and I can spend the evening curled up with a book while turtyl plays games. We're supposed to have softball tonight, but my legs still hurt from the game on tuesday, and I've got a cold (I blame the air conditioning) so I'd rather stay home.
